Had some problems getting SBS 2003 to give out POP3 mail to a client. I had added the firewall rules and started all the pre-requisite services but still no joy.
I alwys create servers with an internal and external network card and herein lies the problem. I simply had to add a RAS Firewall rule on the outside interface to forward all POP3 to the inside interface and everything fired up ! Hooray !
