SBS 2008 - Exchange Server 2007

By saj ·
Hi there,

Just wondering if any one came across or had dealt with the similar scenario as follows:

Is it possible to install an Windows SBS 2008 to mainly share exchange server/ share point service / active sync and blackberry email services with 3 different companies? It is like a exchange server hosted solution on a smaller scale to keep the cost down for three small businesses.

Is there any Licensing issue? Isolated global address list? any other advise?

regards

SBS = 1 domain

by CG IT In reply to SBS 2008 - Exchange Serve ...

no trusts with other domains. User accounts belong to the 1 domain.

Exchange is a bit more tricky, however, it's intergrated with AD so that will limit what you can do.

sharepoint services is also intergrated into the domain in SBS. Again like everything else, you might be able to do work arounds, however, you will run into trouble if the user accounts are not in Active Directory and therefore belong to the 1 domain.
