    SBS Monitoring Reports Emails

    Locked

    by kphayes710 ·

I am an IT Consultant and I have many customers using SBS 2003. I have setup the monitoring to send me reports via email every day and usage reports every other week. I have also customized what is in the report. The strange thing is, and I can’t find an answer anywhere, is that some of the reports show in my inbox as the server name, some as the administrator account, and others as the company name. Is there a place I can change the name that appears in the emails, which are stored in a public folder, to a common name? i.e. – customer name.

It sounds like the reports come from disparate systems. Did you configure the Health Monitor naming consistently in each instance on each SBS server?

There is nowhere in the monitoring setup wizard to set a name besides the email address the report is to go to. Where would I look for the Health Monitoring naming?
