Seagate Backup drive

By eduardo ·
My Seagate Travan Cartridge drive is not doing any scheduled backup. If you manualy activate the backup utility it works fine.My computer have an Athlon CPU with Windows 2000 and 256K.

Your first step is to make sure that you have the scheduling program set up correctly. Make sure you have it set to run the backup itself and not just the program. You can do that by linking to the specific backup file list instead of the program. Good luck.

I agree with the afforementioned solution, that you link the backup set (not the backup program) to the scheduling program. It helps to make a test run, say in the next 30 minutes to ensure this process is working and you're to watch it go through the motions.
