I have a mapped network drive set up here, to connect on my (XP Pro) PC in our London office to a folder (on the 2003 server) in our New York office. I can browse the folder, open files, modify them etc. The problem is that I can’t search for files – it returns no results.
I mapped the drive on our server here in London and I could search for files on the New York server, no problem – and vice versa, so Windows server 2003 works fine, XP doesn’t. Weird.
I’m sure I’m doing something really obvious wrong, but just can’t work out what it is! Any ideas?
