I maintain a W2K3 server located at a remote location. I usually access the server via RDT with an ID and PW and I have to be on the VPN to log in. Is this the most secure method? I was told by the data center engineers that I can not use AD. I just attended a MS conference and the security gurus said that direct RDT is a not a secure way to connect. My data center engineers do not have an answer for me and I was wondering if you can shed some light on this issue.
