I am in the market for a “tape encrytion appliance”. The function of the appliance would simply be to encrypt/de-encrypt backup tapes. The appliance would not be performing the backups.
The backups would be handled by a mixed bag of vendors, and would range from server to mainframe backups. The appliance would have to be able to handle LTO tapes.
Does anyone have a recommendation?
