Sending/Receiving e-mails problem

by akokosis . Updated 17 years, 3 months ago

Every now and then, we have a specific problem with my company’s email. An error returns : “Sending’ reported error (0x800CCC0F) : ‘Unable to send the message. Please verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 550failed to meet SPF requirements’.”
When a user enters the local ip address of our mail serever (192.168…..) everything’s just fine. If the incoming or outgoing server in outlook or outlook express is declared by the mail server’s name : mail.domain.com then the error comes up(this happens once every 2 or 3 weeks). We are using MDaemon in our company and the ports used by Mdaemon are POP3: 110, SMTP: 25 and IMAP: 143. They are all redirected in our router’s confguration (the router is a DrayTek Virgo 2800). Any ideas???
