Presently working with Netfinity 5000 Type 8659 Model 41Y. I want to add a SCSI drive to the machine outside of the five drive RAID 5 array. There is a SCSI connector on board but my reading idicates that it can only be used for SCSI devices other than hard drives. There is an IDE connector onboard but SCSI is my preference. Looking for guidance and options.
