Setting the “Log On To” setting in active directorty to a default value

by sadams . Updated 16 years, 3 months ago

I work in a school and computers come in and out to me for regular maintenance checks. We are running windows server 2003 and windows seems to remember if i have logged into the machine the next time if boots after i have performed maintenance tasks. This can lead to pupils coming to staff saying the computers not logging in when all they have to do is change this setting from the loacl machine to log onto the network. Is there a way in active directory so when the computer boots it automaticly has are network in this box and not the machine i.e. PORTABLE114 (this computer)? This would save are tech support alot of hassle!
