setting up laptop to log into 2 different domains

By RG11 ·
I have a laptop with XP and I need to set it up so that a traveling user can log into two different domains, server is NT 4.0. What do I need to do.. The laptop is set up to get an IP automatically assigned and obtain DNS automatically. Would the network identification wizard do everything for me?

Setup 2 partitions with 2 different domains

You can configure the laptop with 2 partitions, and install the required OS on the specified partitions. This will enable the user to login to 2 separate domains.

you'll be fine

hate to rain on previous users post, but don't change the install or formatting of your harddrives. if the box is setup dhcp, then it'll get an ip, if the user has an account on the network, he'll authenticate fine. the problem comes with setting the domain, simply setup different HW profiles for the laptop. or you could just create a new ethernet conection in Network places\neighborhood, depending onwhat flavor of windows you're using. if you're using Linux or MAC, you're on your own, i couldn't tell ya.
