You need to set up VLANs. This process will vary depending upon the type of managed network switch that you have.

If you have an HP PROCURVE then you would do this through either a telnet session (my personal favorite, this is faster) to the switch or using the management software that you purchase separately (slower and cumbersome).

Every manufacturer of managed switchgear will accomplish this differently, but they all follow a similar process.
