sharing problem in 95 system connected t

By bhalerao ·
i am facing problem for sharing the pc in share lavel
e.g.
i am sitting on "A"'s computer and giving full access to user "B". When "B" login to machin his own login and access computer "A", "B" is not getting access, it showing access denied.
But when i give access to "everyone" or "World" that time "B" can access "A"'s computer thru his own login.

I am getting access thru share lavel also.

I check all protocol also, but i can't solve this problem.

your problems seems that there is no connection with novell. All you need to do is install Client for Microsoft Networks on your computer and enable file and print sharing also, and delete all the *.pwl files on your C:\windows directory. Restart your C and thats it.

I don't see where Novell has anything to do with this. You are setting up sharing basically using a peer-to-peer concept using the same cabling that the Novell network is using--but Novell isn't controlling access, the Win95 PC is. When you turn on file and print sharing in the Network Neighborhood and you use the share-level access control, you will get a new menu option when you right clight on a folder you want to share. The new option is Sharing. When you select sharing you set the PASSWORD that the user must enter to be able to use the device.
