I have a friend who has the following problem..
He recently upgraded to a 1g hz CPU with 256 RAM. He has and old Microsoft sidewinder 3d pro joystick that doesn’t seem to work, the com just says “not connected”. When he customizes it as a joystick with 4 buttons, 3 axis, it’s indicated it’s connected. Do you think the problem is software or incompatibility? Hes checked the Microsoft site for fixes, and update drivers, but the problem remains. I would appreciate any advice on this.
