I have a Comaq Armada 100s, Laptop, AMD K6 500mhz, 64mb, 4gb hd, 56k internal modem, Win98. I have a desktop PC about the same size (except memory 128mb). When i log onto to my ISP on the PC everything works fine. When I log on the same ISP on theLaptop is runs very slow and sometimes freezes. Is it normal for a Laptop to be slower or is there something I can do o speed it up?
The modem settings seem to be the same for both Laptop and PC.
