I’ve been into a strange environment to try to
improve speed issues. My client is running a dual quad-core Dell box with Server 2003 and
SQL Express as a workgroup … no AD (not a
domain). The client stations are new Dell
boxes with 3GB ram but only 256MB video cards.
When I monitor the network at the server I see
data request come in and go out very fast but
at the Vista station I wait 30-40 seconds before
the data form fills!!
Any ideas would be most welcome!
