Everytime you think you have the most powerful system money and ingenuity can facilitate. And arm that system with the most stable, high performance set of features figuring you can never surpass it’s abilities, some programmer or businessman in need or market demand will stretch the limits and start the whole thing all over again.

we in IT live in an never ending grey area where the rules of what will be and what actually is never seem to meet. We can look at hardware as a simple launch point and say that ever 5 years since 1980 our systems have expanded at a rate of 1000% 1mb => 10mb =>100mb => 1gb => 10gb =>100gb
Software, and business activity demands have and will continue to exceed current envelopes.
