I am looking for some software that would perform the following tasks.
I wish to have an inventory of all software and hardware within my company.
I would like it to do the following as well, say for instance we have a server that requires a BIOS firmware upgrade because of a flaw discovered, enter that into the software and it will output all the servers requiring that firmware upgrade.
Or for software if a new service pack comes out for Windows 7, then we can run a report detailing with machines need it.
Is there software out there like this?
