Sonicwall VPN issue

By JD212 ·
I have a Sonicwall TZ170 security appliance. I was asked to create a VPN on the sonic wall. Which was really nothing more than know what to type in a wizard. The connection is fine when using the GVC (Global VPN Client)
So all of the authentication is correct but the virtual adapter is not getting an IP address provisioned from the sonicwall. The Error is "Failed to renew the IP Address for the virtual Adapter." I've pointed the DHCP over VPN option to the local DHCP server in our LAN. This did not work. Is their an option in which I've missed possibly? Any ideas would be welcomed. Thanks

done any troubleshooting on it yet? If so what? That would help save time and stop from being redundant.

ipconfig output

by JD212 In reply to Have you

The output of ipconfig gives me all of
The proper information per our domain setup
I get the ips for dns, dhcp, and secondary dhcp ip,s
But I have yet to have a chance to run
Wireshark to see if discovery packets are being sent or not

Let me correct the last post, it finds the
secondary dns not dhcp.
