I have an exchange 2007 server running on windows 2008 server.my clients connect to the internet through a cisco 1700 series router which acts as the gateway. how can i track which client is sending out spam from our network?

Server logs?

You may need to adjust the logging levels.

Network Traffic?

Would be my starting point. I would look at what is generating the internal Traffic and investigate as required.

You can use Wireshark as a starting point here
