This might be silly to you but I have question that desperately need your attention.
Here is my situation. We have SBS 2003 R2 Premium Edition with 30 CAL but we’ve been using POP3 mail service from the Network Solutions. However, I would like to move everyone from POP3 to our Exchange server but I just found out that CAL can be very is costly.
My question is, is there way to have certain user on in-house Exchange server and leave rest of them on the current POP mail server? Many of our users are blackberry users that does not need any other server resouces.
If I put my Exchange server as Primary MX record and POP server as secondary, would users who are not on the Exchange server automatically get their mail from POP server?
