Comments: I recently installed a copy of Bitware FAX software on my Windows 2K system only to find out that it caused a spoolsv.exe error which shuts down my print subsystem. I went on MSN support site and downloaded their documents dealing with this problem. I then followed the advice to totally remove Bitware including going into the register and deleting all references to that program. However I still am incurring the same spoolsv.exe error and cannot reactivate my print subsytem. I have tried to address this to the Microsoft newsgroups and have had no response from them. I am hoping you can direct me to the source of my problem. I do not want to scratch my hard drive and reinstall. It will cost me to much in lost data and nonreplaceable downloaded software updates to my older software programs. Any advice you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
