Sprint wireless card not allowing HP computer to shut down

We have just recently recieved Srint wirless cards for our computers at the fire department, we added the software to all of out laptops and now have an issue with the HP computers getting stuck on the shut down window of xp pro. The software and cards work fine with dell. Anyone know why?

Two ways to deal with this:
1. Before you shutdown just right click on your network icon in your task bar and select “disable”, then try and do a shutdown. If not then click on the link below and install this, it is called “fast shutdown / fast reboot” and it is very good. I am using this fast shutdown because windows takes a very long time sometimes too shutdown or reboot.
