Hi,

I had encountered the sql server error 10061 attempting to connect SQL server on WIN98. There is no error on Win XP Pro. Can anyone help?

here are the settings:
1. only one WINDOW SERVER 2003 in the network with Active Directory activated.
2. only one WIN XP pro in the network
3. only one WIN 98 2nd edition in the network
4. SQL SERVER 2000 with service pack 3 installed on WINDOW SERVER 2003
5. SQL SERVER authenication is mix mode
6. SQL Connectivity in client side is set to TCP/IP port 1433 only
