SQL server "Driver not capable error"

By jfletcher ·
I have a problem with a client that we installed SQL server 2000 on her machine and she uses it to access the SQL information on another machine. When she tries to connect to the other SQL server, she gets the message "Driver not capable". Can someone help me?

SQL server "Driver not capable error"

One possibility:

Some data sources, for example, Access 97, do not support setting a query timeout value. For such data sources, an ODBC error will occur if a timeout value other than 0 is specified. The SQLSTATE for the error should be S1C00, driver not capable.

Set the timeout value to 0.

----------

Another possibility:

The Table Source should specify the source table name, not the physical file name.
