SQL server error

I connect to the SQL 2008 server via Remote desktop successfully. I get this error when tring to access the database via SQL management studio. Error message: a connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occured during the process (provider: shared memory provider error: 0 - no process is on the other end of the pipe. sql server error 233.

to the server..maybe your conn string is wrong, or the server is not accepting connections..

google "sql server error 233"

Thanks for your efforts, but I managed. It looks as if an update patch re-configured the security settings on my database. I restarted all the SQL services and logged into SQL with windows authentication. After inspecting my user account I noticed that I had no access to the db. Gave myself log in rights and 123, it works.
