Hi Everyone…
Seems I am having some problems resolving an issue concerning the automatic shutdown of my server, running Win2003 Server. I have a Stabiline SL600 UPS that has the ability to send an RS232 signal to the Server to start an orderly shutdown.
I have tried to contact Superior Electric, makers of the Stabiline, and was told that it is obsolete, they don’t support it and I should simply replace it with a current model. I have tried running a Google search for shutdown software and can’t seem to find anything except UPS Shipping programs.
Does anyone have any information, or be able to point me to somewhere where I might be able to secure a resolution to my headache???
