Startmenu Redirection

By MartinNJones ·
I am having a problem redirecting the startmenu for users in a terminal services environment. I have searched the internet and found many posts on the redirection of other folders but limited posts on the Startmenu. To the detail...
I have a 2003 SBS and a a 2003 x64 running Terminal Services. I have created a share on the SBS as \\SBSServer\Startmenu and beneath that created the folder structure. Using ABE the users see only what they are supposed to see on the menu. I have redirected the Startmenu for all users on the TS using GPO. I created the shortcuts to the packages installed on the TS, in the redirected menu on the SBS share but when I log on as the users and try to run them I get a couple of different results. One example is trying to run calc.exe it asks me for logon details to connect to the TS, however the users logon details are not accepted. The secon symptom is seen when trying to run Word. this one returns an error saying the "device, application is not accessible".

Can anyone shed any light on where I went wrong. Thanks
