My audio has static even with two headphones. It has static on both headphones. How do I fix this? Take it to the computer store for them to replace the hardware?

What make/model headphones? Corded connection or Bluetooth? How old are the headsets? Have you tried connecting the headsets to another device to test the audio quality?

If it is an issue with the headset itself, it would probably be cheaper to replace that than instead of the hardware in your computer. You haven’t offered enough information for advice. It is too early to suggest taking your computer to a shop.

if you’re experiencing static or crackling sounds in your audio, and the issue occurs with multiple headphones, it suggests that the problem might lie with your device’s hardware or audio output. Before considering taking it to a computer store for hardware replacement, you can try a few more troubleshooting steps.

First, check if the static issue persists across different audio sources. Connect your device to other audio devices, such as speakers or external sound systems, and see if you still experience static. If the problem is limited to headphones, it might be worth testing the headphones on another device to confirm if they are the source of the issue.

Next, examine the audio ports on your device. Dust or debris in the headphone jack or audio ports can cause static. Use compressed air or a soft brush to clean them carefully. Ensure that the headphone plug is fully inserted into the jack, as a loose connection can also lead to static.
