Steps to resolve installation error of windows 2000 server

By moturis ·
hi gurus,

iam trying to install windows 2000 server in my notebook. Iam getting an error that setup didnot find any hard disk drives installed in your computer. This is required to run a manufacturer suplied diagnostic or setup program. Since it has Serial ATA hard drives, i downloaded those AHCI controller drivers to floppy from intel.com and tried to install OS.
It is not recognising those drivers at the time of installation? could any one help me in soving this.
