Still explore.exe problem

Not enough information to narrow down a cause.

Some generalities:
How much RAM? I like to have between 128 and 384MB
How much free hard drive space? 200MB is a minimum.

What may have changed since the system last worked properly?

Clean out the windows\temp folder
Clean out the internet cache files.

Boot into safe mode, run defrag.

Use a registry repair program.
There are a few "freware" programs.
I use Norton WinDoctor, or On-Track Fix-It.

Wipe the drive, and re-installWindows.

If you can provide more system specifics, it may be that someone can give you a more specific answer.

Try reinstalling windows, if it's 95 or 98. Put the windows cd in and follow the directions. It should not remove any thing and it will replace missing or corrupt files. Try renaming the iexplore.exe or .dll and copy the file from your cd to the windows\system folder and rebooting. Or back up important files format and reinstall. M.S. has a few questions on this same problem.
