Straight Story on HandSpring

By cboldt ·
I believe that who ever wrote the PDA memory article (at least as far as HandSpring PDAs) needs to do better reasearch. While it is true that the Springboard module for only memory expansion is exspensive & limited by size, there is a vastly better option available (and it is listed at the HandSpring site). Yes, I am a dyed in the wool HandSpring fanatic, but only because a]They (HandSpring) broke off from Palm after creating the Palm o/s, b]Produce a superior product at a more user friendly cost. I have tried all models except the new Treo. However, back to memory, I own a Springboard module that allows me to put in any size CF disc I would like (same company makes other SpringBoard modules for additional memory types). All tho the modulecost me $50, it comes with additional programs hard wired to the module, one for instance allows me to do easy backups & restores. An other program (separate purchase) allows you to both store & run programs from the CF disc. For my purposes it is hard to beat the cost & funtioality of a HandSpring.
