After working fine for years, my Win 98 PC is doing something I don’t understand and am not sure where to look. Haven’t changed the system in any way lately, but the problem started about two week ago. When I’m online to Internet (56K dialup to ISP)if I print anything (from Explorer browser, Word, anything) it screws up the connection – my modem continues to send but will not receive. It leaves dial up networking in a dodgy state (can’t ‘end task’ properly) and I have to restart to be able to dial-up again. Any ideas much appreciated.
