I have a problem when I tried to backup files to tape using tape tool in SUN Solaris. I drag the files I want copy to the tape to the tape tool window for “File to Write”, then I received a error message ” error for I/O” and all file in the originalplace were gone. I did not know why and where they were. How I could survival the erase files in Sun workstation? I realy have trouble to use the tape tool, somotime I could list but could not copy to workstation.
Any one can help me to solve thisproblem?
