I have a toshiba portege laptop with a port replicator, a pcmcia network card and a standalone profile.
On 1 site the user wants to keep the replicator while on the other he will use the network card. Both the replicator and card are dhcp.
Theproblem:
When booting in standalone the following error message comes up in a dialogue box with the title ‘mobile devices’ – TCP transport not installed.
In device manager both cards are disabled for that profile and in network properties TCP/IP is present.
Enough info?
Any ideas or pointers about the error message would be gratefully received.
