Technet Subscription Troubles

I am a very frustrated Microsoft OEM builder. The reason for this is I cannot find any information as to why I cannot complete a simple Technet Subscription purchase. I can only guess as to why it does not complete the purchase and I believe it is to do with the server not coping with the number of people wanting a new subscription.
My point is that MS are giving little information as to why our subscription attempts are failing. I have phoned them and they explained they are having server overload troubles. They said they will phone me back to complete my subscription manually. This was 8 days ago and still no phone call. Why would I want to spend good money to get a pathetic service like this?
The answer is that I can then get to play with the RTM Windows 7 along with all of the other MS goodies. Am I the only person that cannot complete the Technet Subscription? After several minutes of the page refreshing itself, it comes up with this Error Code...
?500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.?
Please let me know if others are just as frustrated by the complete lack of information about this subscription process failure. I have tried for 4 weeks to get a new Technet subscription now. If it was with any normal retail business I would NEVER SUPPORT them again (if there were any other business offering the same service)!
