I have a customer who is running Win2k Server with Terminal Services. Everyone is working fine except for one user who cannot print from Excel.
It is the weirdest thing I have ever seen. He can print from Outlook, Word, Sage everything but he cannot print from Excel.
When you try to print it just says that there are currently no printers installed. To install a printer please go to Printers in the control panel….. When you go to install the printer it installs it fine but it will not set any of them as default. I think this is the main problem at the moment. But how do I resolve that. I have tested logging onto the server with another account and it does the same thing. I have also tried logging on at the server using the terminal services applet and it does the same thing there too! Therefore that rules out (to my limited Terminal Services brain) that there is no problem with the local machine no problem with the profile if another profile on his machine does the same thing?!
