I have searched for specific instructions on setting up a TS Gateway in Windows Server 2003. I have come up completely empty even on TechNet.
I feel like there’s two possibilities for not being able to find something…
1) This service is flakey and although it exists Microsoft hasn’t worked the bugs out of it and doesn’t want to have to offer a lot of support for it.
2) I’m totally blind and just can’t find it.
Although the second reason is not unlikely the first one is in my opinion not an uncommon reason for things not being documented by Microsoft. I can actually find more information about it already for Longhorn Server than I can Server 2003 indicating that maybe although unlikely it is a service that will finally get some push in the future. If that’s the case will we be able to use Longhorn Server TS Gateway to connect to our 2K and 2K3 terminal servers?
