Tethering means that your TV uses the Internet-connection from your iPad (which must be an iPad that connects not to your WiFi, but to the 3G, 4G or 5G data connection offered by your phone company).
It doesn’t mean the TV can run the apps on your iPad.

Please tell more about the tethering (or maybe you meant casting?).

That’s not tethering. That’s using your TV as an external monitor. Now go and ask the author of “crack” why it doesn’t work. Also try a real monitor in stead of a TV.

That’s all we can advise. And since we don’t support cracked software I’m locking this thread.

I see Kees covered what tethering is.

But you claim it’s connected with HDMI. The only ways I’ve seen that work is with Apple’s own adapter and the Apple TV. I have yet to see an Airplay TV work.

Beyond that folk report that the adapter is severely limited in its capability. That is Netflix and YouTube may not work.

My advice is to forget this and get a Roku or other streaming box.
