Can anyone tell me why (I know it sounds dumb), the embedded ethernet card on the Compaq Deskpro EN will not work? It has a steady amber light, and when I connect my network cable to it, I get no network connectivity.
I would surely appreciate your immediate assistance, as I need to install the WIN2k OS, and install it as a wksta before 12 today.
I’ve already checked the bios to make sure that it wasn’t disabled…
