Toughbook says “Insert Sim” but working Sim is already inserted!

I might sound crazy over here, but this is pushing me to the brink. I have multiple Panasonic CF-20 Toughbooks, all with the same issue.
The sim is inserted correctly, sim is working correctly in other devices but the Toughbooks all say “Insert Sim”

I have tried firmware, drivers, downgrades, updates, windows updates, networking in command prompt, and some random sim program to try and fix it. I am at my wits end. Sim provider is Telstra – Aus. As you can assume, they have no issues on their end.

    Send help.

That seems a question for Panasonic tech service or the shop where you bought them? Do you still have warranty?

Back to Panasonic or their service centers.

Here a lot of those type machines are dropping like flies in the cellular area because the 3G and other networks are being decommissioned. That error message could be incorrect and the SIM is fine but the cellular radio is no longer compatible with the network. Or the radio and SIM kit is defective. Sadly it’s back to the service center for them to determine which problem it is this time.

One last thing. Look in all the BIOS menus to see if there was a disable/enable for the cellular radio option.
