Transferring photos onto CD

I have Windows ME and have as yet been unable to transpher any of my photographs onto a CD. Any suggestions?
I’ve tried using NERO. Is there anything I could download to help me?

Can you give us some specifics as to what problem you’re having copying the files to CD? Is it buffer underruns? Are you getting an error message? Where in the burn process does it fail?
Are you using the directCD, Write at Once, type burning or the standard method? Can you give us a few specs about your system?

Without any details, I’d recommend this:

Reboot
Close everything that is running on your system besides Nero (great burning software, btw)
Try slowing down your burn speed to 2X or something like that and see if it works.
Choose to close the CD after burning.
Try to burn your disc.

The idea is to simplify and try to spot the problem. If at this point you still are struggling, I’d try a different (name brand) media.

Does your CD burner work for other files? What process are you using exactly? Did you try burning as DATA?
