Trouble Ticket Management For Client Support Service Providers.

Our organization is looking for a robust, open source trouble ticket management software for our client support based computer service business.

We provide technical support, web hosting services and do a wide variety of network/computer service for hospitals and also some small to medium sized business.

We receive many email and phone support requests and need a reliable way of tracking and managing their priority and results. So we need something that can accept tickets or support requests by email.

Have you any suggestions on any software? Open Source is preferred since it just makes sense nowadays. We can run on any linux/windows os and platforms, web based is welcomed.

Its is a web solution built on .Net platform

There is a Free basic edition with Access as back end for 10 users.

Free Ticket management

Hello. I have used Illient's SysAid Helpdesk product for many years and it has been very helpful. The base product is free and the professional is not very expensive compared to other products. SysAid uses VNC for remote access to your desk tops and you can push out to each desktop as needed. What makes this nice is that when you go into assest management you can kick of the remote session from the Helpdesk application. You can assign tickets based on assesst and set up different groups for your tickets. You can also create a knowledge base from your tickets. Just Google "sysaid" and you will find it.

Does anyone have a call type tree, hierarchy, categories table set up?

Doesn't anybody have a call type tree structure already set up that they are willing to share. Something like:

Hardware/Desktop/Won't power up
Hardware/Desktop/Locking up
Hardware/Desktop/New - Needs setup
Hardware/Desktop/Drive Failure

Yes I do know one of the software which can help you out in <a href="">ticket management</a>. This software is designed using Share Point but as i can say it is designed in such technology it is not an open source software but once you get that software you would not regret it.
