Any ideas that someone can bounce off me would be great, incase i’ve overlooked something.
right now i have a Laserjet 4000 with a jetdirect card configured with a static ip. I have IP connectivity from end to end as i can ping the printer from every pc on the local lan and also from the switch i can ping the printer.
** Problem **
When i goto print from any system on the LAN the job get’s queued on the print server but never reaches the printer itself .. i’m not sure if i have to enable anything on the switch side for the specific port that the printer is on. If anyone needs additional details let me know and i’ll post.
