TrueImageCMD: how to specify vm_type “xenserver”?

by cptstefan . Updated 16 years, 3 months ago

Hi everybody

I would like to convert a True Image file of a Windows 2003 server (.tib) into a .vhd file and import it into XenServer afterwards (using XenConvert). It is not a problem at all if I use the True Image GUI, but I would like to create a script which does it automatically. This is the command I would like to use:

trueimagecmd /convert /filename:C:\image.tib /target_filename:C:\convimage.vhd /vm_type:??? /harddisk:1

My problem is that I do not know how to specify the vm_type XenServer. According to the manual, the CLI only offers these parameters:
/vm_type:[vmware|esx|microsoft|parallels].

I know that there MUST be a way because if you convert the image with the GUI, the VM type XenServer is available!

I have also posted this question here http://forum.acronis.com/forum/8716, but I did not get a single reply.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you
Stefan
