I am trying to setup a permanent vpn from physical location A using xp pro (client) to location B using server standard 2008. I just need a simple connection not using ssl or any certificate based connection that will require a certificate server or anything extra. I’m trying to accomplish this connection to allow an accouting software client setup at location A to access the database on the server at location B. I’ve done alot of research and all I’ve found is instructions for ssl or the like. I don’t need ssl, just a simple connection setup. thanks to all who respond.
