Two ISP on only one wireless card?

By elenssar ·
Hi tech guys! Anyone knows about a Wireless card for notebook that, someway, allows me to connect two different broadband isp at same time? For example, this device could create two virtual networks adapters, one for each connection??

2 WiFi connections on same card

by TechG In reply to Two ISP on only one wirel ...

Very strange
I've seen wifi and wired connections two different IP addresses.

It could work I guess but my question is which wireless management software is being used?

Windows and Intel or Cisco, or other?

One would be primary and how does it allow multi connections on the same card must be a weird feature and the next question what would be the purpose?

My question is how is the network performance using the same card for two ISP's?

One request for FTP Downloading while another is sending email or surfing the web.

Interesting hardware software combinations!

Why would you need TWO isp's.

If your using wireless, you don't need ANY isp's. Strictly speaking, all you need is an open gateway - it can come in whatever form you like.

I'm typing this reply via Firefox, downloading a 175MB .iso, Thunderbird is monitoring 3 POP3 email accounts, I'm running Winamp for background audio, and I'm on a wireless Acer laptop. ...

So, what would I need another isp for?

Multi port WAn routers

It can?t be done at the Laptop level, however, you can buy a router with two Wan ports and configure an internal port bonding to get the benefit of combined throughput.
Google the keyword ?multiport WAN routers?
