On the clients that do not work:

Can they ping the IP address of the domain controller?

Can a user can log onto the domain, but not browse the network once logged on?

What is the network topology:

Are there mutiple subnets, or only one?
How are these 300 users connected? Fast ethernet switches with gigabit uplinks to main ethernet switch??.... the issue here could be that your network traffic is too high so there is packet-loss.
