Have a laptop running XP Professional with SP3 that I usually use hardwired to it. When I travel I carry the laptop to collect emails sent to me. I log into unsecured hot spots and can get onto the internet with no problems but when I check my emails it usually states that I can transmit messages but unable to receive messages. At the office if I go wireless I have no problem receiving or transmitting. I have both Outlook 2003 and Outlook Express installed on the computer. There have been a few times where I can not get on when using Outlook but can when Outlook Express or visa versa, but even this doesn’t happen often, mostly error messages saying unable to receive. Any ideas?
