unonimus cpu

i have two cpu with motorola mc68lco4orc25 printed on them,i tend to think its a 486 3.5v 33mhz.please can you help.

These processors were used in older MacIntosh systems, around the time of the LCII.

They cannot be 486 class chips because Intel, AMD, and Cyrex made those chips.
Motorola makes their own chips that compete with those companies but the Motorola chips are in no way compatible. You have 25 Megahurtz Motorola CPU chips. If you dropthem in a system board designed for an Intel compatible chip, the Motorola chips would most likeley burn up and become useless silicon.

Having had an Amiga I can tell you what they are, (also used by Apple).
They are 68040's. They have onboard Floating Point units and Memory Management Units.
Speed is 25Mhz. Doesnt sound a lot but used to run my Amiga on 68030 @50mhz.
Dont use inIBM compatible.
So the full spec is 68040 @25Mhz, with FPU and MMU.
